We envision this section as a means of providing resourceful information to the media about our organization. We have worked to simplify your navigation so that much of the information about our organization is condensed into this section for enhanced efficiency.

Over the past 13 years, we have worked to make Georgia's lottery the best in the nation. The Georgia Lottery increased sales in each of its first seven fiscal years making Georgia the most successful start-up lottery in United States history. The GLC has transferred more than $11.2 billion to the state of Georgia for educational programs since June of 1993. With the Georgia HOPE Scholarship Program, the Georgia Prekindergarten Program for 4-year-olds, and capital outlay and technology initiatives, lottery funds in Georgia are helping nurture students from ABCs to college degrees.
