Winning tickets for draw games (Powerball, Win for Life, Mega Millions, Fantasy 5, Georgia FIVE, CASH 4, CASH 3, Decades of Dollars, and KENO!) must be claimed within 180 days after the draw date. For Instant Games, players will have 90 days from End of Game date to redeem or claim Instant Game prizes for an individual Instant Game; thereafter, no claims shall be honored by the GLC.
To claim prizes over $600, winners must fill out a claim form, supplied by any GLC office or by requesting one from a Player Information Representative, and present two forms of valid identification. The GLC must be able to verify the winner's identity and Social Security Number (SSN), therefore; at least one form of identification must specifically identify the SSN. The preferred forms of acceptable identification are a valid driver's license and Social Security card. Please contact a Player Information Representative for other forms of acceptable identification. The first and last names listed on both pieces of identification must be the same.
Prizes of $601 to $249,999 claimed at GLC headquarters or district offices are paid the same day. Winners claiming prizes of $250,000 to $499,999 should plan to arrive at GLC headquarters or district offices by 4 p.m. for same day payment; winners who arrive after 4 p.m. will be paid the following business day. Prizes of $500,000 or more generally take 3-5 business days to process. Prizes up to $25,000 can also be claimed at the GLC Kiosks at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Prizes of $600 or less can be claimed at any Georgia Lottery retailer, office or by simply filling out the back of the ticket and mailing it to the below GLC P.O. Box address.
