ATLANTA – Two metro Atlanta stores have rolled out expansive Georgia Lottery prizes.
Shell Food Mart, 3402 S. Cobb Drive in Smyrna, sold a winning Fantasy 5 Quik Pik ticket worth $310,820 from the Dec. 12 drawing. Winning numbers were: 14-17-20-26-35.
Jesse Edwards of Smyrna has claimed the prize.
BP, 9720 Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek, was one of two retailers to sell winning Fantasy 5 tickets worth $352,005 from the Dec. 26 drawing. The second winning jackpot ticket was sold in Jefferson.
Winning numbers from the drawing were: 8-12-21-25-26.
Peter Ovdenk Jr. of Roswell has claimed the prize sold in Johns Creek.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $12.9 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
