Remodeling contractor 1st won $197K in 2005
ATLANTA – A Gainesville man has rallied a second Georgia Lottery win. Ronald Pelissero, a remodeling contractor, has won a $750,000 top prize playing the holiday-themed Jingle Jumbo Bucks instant ticket.
Pelissero, 65, is a two-time winner who first won $197,930 in 2005 playing Fantasy 5.
“I invested in real estate,” he said of that prize. “It did give us an opportunity to have some fun.”
The lucky lottery winner said he was sitting in his work truck when he scratched his latest prize. It was raining and dark, and he initially couldn’t see that he’d won.
“I was at the right place at the right time,” he shared.
QuikTrip, 20 E. Crossville Road in Roswell, sold the winning ticket.
Pelissero, who has six adult children and 11 grandchildren combined with his wife, Grace, plan to invest his winnings.
“I want to go to Australia or New Zealand,” he said, adding that he’s grateful to win the lottery twice. “I’ll play again!”
