ATLANTA – An Atlanta Braves employee has scored big. Robert Smith of Hogansville, 43, won $200,300 in the March 4 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Smith danced when saw the draw results on the Georgia Lottery’s website.
“I did the James Brown with my computer chair,” he said. “I pushed the chair away then did a split in front of the computer.
“I’m still sore. I may have to use some of that money to go to the back doctor,” he quipped.
Married with three children, Smith works in security for the Atlanta Braves.
“I’m going to pay off my house and take a trip to New Jersey to see Whitney Houston’s gravesite,” he said.
Sunny Food Mart, located at 300 N. Highway 29 in Hogansville, sold the Quik Pik top prize ticket. A second top prize ticket for the drawing was sold in Augusta.
Winning numbers for the drawing were: 6-8-17-22-29.
“I’m still in shock,” Smith said. “It’s a great feeling.”
