ATLANTA – One father of four has secured a quarter-million dollar win playing the Georgia Lottery. Robert Wise, 45, won a $250,000 top prize playing the new instant game $ Ticket.
Wise of Warrenville, S.C., was visiting his mother in Rockdale County when he purchased the ticket at BP Food Mart, 607 Sigman Road in Conyers, while out grocery shopping.
He asked the clerk for the “newest, hottest ticket.”
“The clerk handed me this ticket and said, ‘Here, you’re a winner,’ ” Wise said. “I feel great.”
Wise and his wife, Yolanda, have four children, ages 11, 9, 7 and 5.
The couple anticipate purchasing a new home with their windfall.
