Georgia Lottery and Atlanta Falcons kick off new game

ATLANTA – The Georgia Lottery Corp. is teaming up with the Atlanta Falcons to kick off a new instant game. Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Touchdown is a $5 game with $500,000 top prizes and many other exciting prizes, including season ticket packages. Tickets go on sale at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide Sept. 8. "Our Atlanta Falcons ticket is a new and entertaining product for football fans and lottery players," said Georgia Lottery President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco. "With every dollar raised by this game benefiting the lottery-funded HOPE Scholarship and Pre-K programs, the ultimate winners remain the students of Georgia." Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Touchdown also will feature four extra chance drawings. Extra chance prizes include: a trip for two on the team airplane to an away game; a trip for 10 to an away game; and a 16-person suite experience at a home game. "We are proud of our long-standing relationship with the Georgia Lottery," said Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay. "The partnership makes real sense. Both organizations offer unique entertainment products, and both share a commitment to making a positive difference in the community." Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $11 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program.
