ATLANTA – An Alma woman is taking the scenic route in her new crossover utility vehicle courtesy of the Georgia Lottery. Patricia Wooten, 58, played the new instant game Cadillac Riches and instantly won a brand new Cadillac.
Georgia Lottery representatives presented Wooten with the keys to her new 2012 Cadillac SRX Crossover Wednesday at Heritage Cadillac, 7134 Jonesboro Road in Morrow.
“When I saw that I’d won, all I could say was, ‘Are you serious?’ I couldn’t find any other words,” she said.
The Easy, located at 902 N. Pierce St. in Alma, sold the lucky ticket.
Wooten, a mother of three adult children and a grandmother of seven, said she feels like a celebrity.
“I wanted a new car, and I got one,” she exclaimed. “I can’t wait to get my hands on it!”
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.1 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
