ATLANTA – Savannah has been a Fantasy 5 hot spot with two winning jackpot tickets in one week. June B. Muns of Savannah won $349,987 in the Sept. 20 Fantasy 5 drawing. She claimed her prize Monday. Muns purchased her lucky Quik Pik ticket at Country Convenience #1, located at 12403 White Bluff Road in Savannah. Another Fantasy 5 ticket purchased in Savannah was one of three to each win $48,677 in the Sept. 26 drawing. That ticket was purchased at S & M Food Mart, located at 11711 Largo Drive in Savannah. The Sept. 26 Savannah jackpot winner has not come forward. Winning numbers for the drawing were: 2-12-28-29-35. Fantasy 5 winners have 180 days after the draw date to claim a prize. Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 jackpot tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning jackpot ticket is sold, the retailers selling the jackpot winning tickets will share the bonus. Country Convenience will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $8,000. S & M Food Mart will share a $4,000 bonus with the other retailers selling jackpot tickets for that drawing. Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $11 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program. More than 1.1 million students have received HOPE, and more than 940,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program. Play Responsibly – It's All About Fun!
