Georgia Lottery Celebrates ValentineÂ’s Day with Hearts On Fire and Love Notes

ATLANTA – Love is in the air with the Georgia Lottery Corporation’s two new instant games. Play Hearts On Fire for $2 and win up to $14,000. Or play Love Notes, a $1 game, and win up to $7,000.

To play Hearts On Fire, scratch off the entire play area. Find a “heart” symbol in the PLAY AREA and win the prize shown for that symbol. Find a “rose” symbol in the BONUS spot and instantly win $50. Win up to 10 times! Players can win a free ticket, $3, $5, $7, $10, $14, $20, $25, $35, $40, $50, $75, $100, $140, $1,400 and the top prize of $14,000. Overall odds for Hearts On Fire are 1 in 3.72.

To play Love Notes, scratch off the entire play area. Get three “cupid” symbols in any row, column or diagonal and win the prize shown in the prize box. Players can win a free ticket, $2, $4, $7, $14, $25, $35, $50, $75, $500 and the top prize of $7,000. Overall odds for Love Notes are 1 in 4.40.

Hearts On Fire and Love Notes go on sale at lottery retailers statewide today. Prizes up to $599 can be claimed at any location where lottery instant tickets are sold. Players who win prizes over $599 may claim their winnings at one of the seven Georgia Lottery district offices. These are located in Dalton, Duluth, Columbus, Macon, Augusta, Thomasville, Savannah, and at the GLC headquarters in Atlanta. Winners can also mail a completed claim form, along with the signed winning ticket, to the GLC headquarters.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned over $7 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs. These include Georgia’s HOPE scholarship program; a statewide, voluntary pre-kindergarten program for four-year-olds; and a wide range of technological and capital upgrades for the state’s schools, technical institutes, colleges, universities and public libraries.
