ATLANTA – A Jackson father of three, who recently stopped for gas, drove away as a Georgia Lottery winner. David Frye, 31, won $100,000 playing the instant game Cash Harvest. While pumping gas at Quick Spot #0036, located at 10260 Highway 36 in Covington, Frye decided to purchase a ticket and scratched it before driving off. "I was amazed," he said. "I just drove off. I wasn't sure what to do next." He and his wife, Melissa, who have one son and two daughters, anticipate paying off bills and purchasing a new car. "It seems like a dream," Frye shared. Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $11.2 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program. More than 1.2 million students have received HOPE, and more than 940,000 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program. Play Responsibly – It's All About Fun!
