ATLANTA – A Conyers man is in the holiday spirit, especially since winning a Fantasy 5 jackpot prize. David Anthony Sr. won $391,446 from matching all five winning numbers in the Dec. 8 Fantasy 5 drawing.
"That'll help tremendously," the grandfather of six exclaimed.
Anthony purchased his Quik Pik ticket at Shell Food Mart, 14656 Browns Bridge Road in Covington. Winning numbers from the Dec. 8 drawing were: 5-22-27-29-37.
"When I saw it, I didn't believe it," he said. "I told my wife, and she screamed."
He and his wife, Sandra, anticipate paying off their home mortgage.
"I feel pretty good," Anthony said.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning jackpot Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning jackpot ticket is sold, the retailers selling the jackpot winning tickets will share the bonus. Shell Food Mart will receive an $8,000 retailer incentive bonus.
