Win for Life drawings move from TV to Internet

Wednesday, February 3, 2010

ATLANTA – Win for Life drawings are moving from television to the Internet. Starting with tonight's drawing, Georgia Lottery players can visit www.galottery.com to view Win for Life drawings and for draw results.

Win for Life is a multi-state game played in Georgia, Virginia and Kentucky. As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Win for Life will benefit education in the state of Georgia.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $11.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs including Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia's Pre-K Program. More than 1.2 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
