ATLANTA – A $150,000 top prize is on the menu for one Warner Robins waitress. Kelly Floyd, who works at a local restaurant, won her prize playing the instant game Giant Jumbo Bucks. Floyd, 41, said she "just stopped at a store for a ticket."
Food Pantry, 508 Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins, sold the winning ticket. She scratched it at home the following day.
The windfall is a welcoming surprise, the mother of two said.
"I'm very excited," she exclaimed. "I have some plans, but this is for my children."
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $11.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
