ATLANTA – A retired postal worker has collected a winning Fantasy 5 prize. Grady Little, a resident of White, matched all five winning numbers in the March 17 drawing, winning a $139,266 jackpot prize.
Little, 73, purchased his winning Quik Pik ticket at Publix Super Market #0554, 300 Cherokee Place in Cartersville. Winning numbers from the March 17 drawing were: 2-3-15-17-20.
“I was on the computer, and I let out a loud shout,” the grandfather of six said. “My wife was the first person I told.”
Retired 27 years from the U.S. Postal Service, Little and his wife, Linda, have no immediate plans for their windfall.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 jackpot tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning jackpot ticket is sold, the retailers selling the winning jackpot tickets will share the bonus. Publix will receive a $4,000 retailer incentive bonus.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corporation has returned more than $11.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
