Fisherman reels in $334,000 Fantasy 5 prize

ATLANTA – An Atlanta man, who loves to fish, is celebrating the catch of a lifetime. Charles Smith matched all five numbers in the Jan. 6 Fantasy 5 drawing and won $334,155.
As Mr. Smith watched the drawing, his excitement grew with each number selected. “When the fifth number came up, I jumped for joy,” he exclaims.
The winning numbers for the Jan. 6 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 02-07-14-34-39. Mr. Smith purchased his Quik Pik ticket at Shell Food Mart, located at 3152 Memorial Dr. in Decatur.
“I’m going to put the money in the bank,” says Mr. Smith, 60. “And go fishing,” he quickly adds.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the retailer incentive bonus. Shell Food Mart will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $7,000.
