Tuesday, June 5, 2012

ATLANTA – The Visitor Information Center inside of the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has begun selling Georgia Lottery tickets. The center will sell tickets for instant and draw games.

Players can collect cash prizes at this location in the amount of $600 or less.

The airport also has three Georgia Lottery instant ticket vending machines.

The Visitor Information Center is located in the main terminal on the first floor near the baggage claim area.

The center, serving under the authority of the Savannah Airport Commission, operates from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
