$228K win brings excitement to Thomasville

ATLANTA – One lucky Georgia Lottery winner is elated to have won a hefty prize. Pamela Hamm of Thomasville matched all five numbers in the May 25 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning the $228,804 jackpot prize.

Susie Q’s #0010, 2112 Smith Ave. in Thomasville, sold the winning Quik Pik.

Winning numbers from the May 25 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 10-12-18-27-35.

Hamm claimed her prize recently at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Tifton.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
