ATLANTA – Ouida Harwell was leaving her grandson’s basketball game when she purchased a Fantasy 5 ticket and scored big. Mrs. Harwell, a Dacula resident, matched all five numbers in the Jan. 11 Fantasy 5 drawing and won $168,952.
According to Mrs. Harwell, she watched the drawing and was thrilled to see her numbers selected. “I got excited,” she says. “I woke my husband up and said, ‘I think I have won the lottery!’ He looked at the ticket, and he verified it.”
The winning numbers for the Jan. 11 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 03-12-14-16-32. The lucky Quik Pik ticket was purchased at Quick Shop Exxon, located at 475 Dacula Rd. in Dacula.
Mrs. Harwell says that she has always been lucky. “I’m pretty fortunate. I have just about everything I need.”
The 69-year-old says that she plans to travel and will share her winnings with her children and grandchildren.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the retailer incentive bonus. Quick Shop Exxon will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $6,000.
