ATLANTA – A Jefferson County woman has discovered the Georgia Lottery draw game KENO! and its top prize. Latisha Hunt of Stapleton won a $100,000 prize playing KENO!
“I cashed in an instant ticket, went to the table and marked 10 numbers,” said Hunt. “When I was marking them I felt really confident, but I had no clue.”
Hunt, 38, picked her lucky numbers at M & A Mart & Gas, located at 1941 Washington Road in Thomson.
“When I saw that I’d won, I just jumped up and started hollering,” she said.
With a birthday later this month, Hunt anticipates celebrating with her 8-year-old son and her husband, Larry.
