ATLANTA – An Albany man has feathered his nest with a Georgia Lottery prize. Bland Brooks, 56, won a $400,000 top prize playing the instant game 20X The Money.
“I’m going to invest it,” Brooks said.
M D Food Mart, located at 2201 E. Oglethorpe Blvd. in Albany, sold the winning ticket.
“I was there in the store, and I was shocked,” he said. “I approached the owner, and we had a little celebration.”
Brooks said he feels great about his lottery win.
