ATLANTA – A Griffin man has won jackpot prizes twice playing Fantasy 5. John Hogan, 67, won the June 7 Fantasy 5 jackpot prize from matching all five numbers, winning $61,122.
In February 2000, Hogan won a $75,270 prize playing Fantasy 5.
"I bought a new truck and took a vacation," he said of his last win. "And I put a new roof on the house."
Winning numbers from the June 7 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 6-12-15-17-25. S & M Grocery, 3244 Fayetteville Road in Griffin, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
Hogan received an e-mail from the Georgia Lottery Players Club with his winning numbers.
"Of course I was excited," he said. "I told my sister, and she said 'Whoop-tee-do.'"
The lucky lottery winner said he does not have any immediate plans for his latest windfall.
"I've won twice," he exclaimed.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 jackpot tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning jackpot ticket is sold, the retailers selling the winning jackpot tickets will share the bonus. S & M Grocery will receive a $2,000 retailer incentive bonus.
