ATLANTA – A Crawford County mother is enjoying a win from the Georgia Lottery. Sharika Clark of Roberta won a $20,000 prize, taxes paid, from being selected as a winner from the $3,000,000 Taxes Paid Weekly Extra Chance Drawing.
Clark, 34, said that others had learned of her good fortune from watching TV, and they notified her.
“Someone texted my sister; then I got a phone call from a friend,” Clark said. “I got excited.”
The mother of three has teenagers, ages 17, 16 and 15. She anticipates using her prize to help her family.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.4 billion to the state of Georgia for education.
