ATLANTA – An Acworth resident has reached his destination, landing on a prize from the Georgia Lottery worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Roy Pulliam, a retired Lockheed Martin industrial engineer, won the $232,648 jackpot prize from matching all five winning numbers in the July 21 Fantasy 5 drawing.
“I’m thrilled,” said Pulliam, 71.
Publix Super Market #1184, 80 Seven Hills Blvd. in Dallas, sold the winning ticket.
Winning numbers from the July 21 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 3-6-11-14-23.
Pulliam, who has four adult children and six grandchildren with his wife, Dianne, discovered his win while checking the results on the Georgia Lottery’s website.
“I couldn’t believe it,” he said. “I jumped up and down, hollered and screamed.”
Pulliam has created a checklist for projects he intends to complete.
