ATLANTA – A grandmother of five from Blue Ridge is celebrating a win from the Georgia Lottery. Mary Frances Stanley, 62, matched all five numbers from the Aug. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing, winning the $113,239 jackpot prize.
Rebels Pantry #5, 4500 Appalachian Highway in Blue Ridge, sold the lucky ticket.
“Those are the birthdays of my husband, my kids and mine,” Stanley said.
She checked the results on the Georgia Lottery’s website the following day.
“I was hollering and heaping,” she said. “I was doing some kind of a dance.”
Stanley said she feels wonderful over winning her prize but has yet to make any plans.
Winning numbers from the Aug. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 1-3-5-7-25.
