Winning ticket worth $173K sold in Social Circle

ATLANTA – A winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth $173,035 was sold in Social Circle. BP Highway 11, located 387 Highway 11 N. in Social Circle, sold the jackpot winning ticket matching all five numbers from the Aug. 28 drawing.

The winner, Staci Satterfield of Social Circle, claimed the prize recently at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.

Winning numbers from the Aug. 28 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 1-7-11-15-35.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
