Winning ticket worth $688K sold in Martinez

ATLANTA – A winning Fantasy 5 ticket was sold in Martinez. Rack & Grill, located at 3481 Old Petersburg Road in Martinez, sold a winning Quik Pik ticket that matched all five numbers from the Sept. 4 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Winning numbers were: 2-9-23-27-35.
The winner, Wayne Hartley of Grovetown, won the jackpot prize of $688,187.
He claimed his prize recently at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Augusta.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
