ATLANTA – Deborah Scott, a resident of Perry, won the top prize in Friday’s regularly scheduled Fantasy 5 drawing. The 33-year-old matched all five numbers and won $290,166.
Ms. Scott checked her ticket while on the telephone with her fiancé, who read out the winning numbers from a printout of the draw results.
“I couldn’t believe it,” says Ms. Scott. “I’m still kind of in shock.”
Ms. Scott, who works as an administrator, will buy a new car and save her winnings.
The winning numbers for Friday’s regularly scheduled Fantasy 5 drawing were: 8-14-17-30-31. Ms. Scott purchased her Quik Pik ticket at Crossroads Package Store, located at 1423-D Houston Lake Dr. in Perry. There were two top prize winners in Friday’s Fantasy 5 bonus drawing. Those tickets were purchased in East Point and Maysville.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Crossroads Package Store will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $4,000.
