ATLANTA – A supervisor for a pole product company is one of two top prize winners in Friday’s Fantasy 5 bonus drawing. Wayne Diamond, a resident of Cedartown, matched all five numbers in the bonus drawing and won $290,166.
Mr. Diamond, 39, checked the winning numbers on Saturday morning and says, “I didn’t think it was true.”
According to Mr. Diamond, he kept the lucky ticket in his pocket until he claimed at Georgia Lottery headquarters on Monday. “I knew where it was at all times,” he says.
Mr. Diamond and his fiancée plan to use a portion of the winnings for their wedding and will save the remainder for their future.
The winning numbers for the Fantasy 5 bonus drawing on Friday were: 10-22-23-30-39. Mr. Diamond purchased his Quik Pik ticket at Galaxy Foods, located at 3100 Washington Rd. in East Point. The second top prize ticket for Friday’s bonus drawing was sold in Maysville. There was one winning ticket sold in Perry for Friday’s regularly scheduled Fantasy 5 drawing.
