Monday, March 7, 2005

ATLANTA – A dairy manager is the cream of the crop after winning the top prize on Fantasy 5. Willie Edwards of Albany matched all five winning numbers in the Feb. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing and won $174,421.

“It hasn’t really sunk in yet,” declares Mr. Edwards, 55.

Mr. Edwards, who works in a Winn-Dixie dairy department, plans to save and invest his Fantasy 5 winnings.

The winning numbers for the Feb. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 4-5-16-18-20. Oakridge Package Store, located at 301 W. Oakridge Dr. in Albany, sold the lucky ticket.

Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Oakridge Package Store will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $6,000.
