Friday, December 14, 2012

ATLANTA – A man is celebrating a Fantasy 5 prize from the Georgia Lottery. George Webster Jr., 64, is one of two players to match all five winning numbers from the Nov. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing, each winning a $153,003 jackpot prize.

A resident of Cedar Bluff, Ala., Webster purchased his Quik Pik ticket at Fast Trip #0002, located at 9522 Alabama Highway in Rome. The second jackpot winning ticket was purchased in Canton.

Webster discovered his prize while watching television.

“I had the ticket in front of me, and I had to sit down,” he said. “It’s unbelievable.”

Content with his windfall, Webster said he has no immediate plans for his windfall.

Winning numbers from the Nov. 23 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 9-24-25-30-36.
