ATLANTA – One Georgia Lottery winner from Butler is in the driver’s seat with a quarter-million dollar prize. Dantavious Harris, a self-employed trucker, matched the first five winning numbers from the Jan. 8 Mega Millions drawing, netting a $250,000 prize.
Five Points Gas N Go, located at 101 Vineville St. in Fort Valley, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
Winning numbers from the Jan. 8 Mega Millions drawing were: 3-20-21-38-42 and the Mega Ball was 19.
“I went to the store and got a print out,” said Harris, 35. “I’m overjoyed.”
Harris and his wife, LaKenya, have four children. He has no immediate plans for his windfall.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is at an estimated $62 million to a single annuity winner. Tickets are $1 per play.
