Cobb County woman wins 3rd $10K prize

ATLANTA – One Cobb County woman is all smiles with a third $10,000 win from the Georgia Lottery since 2010. Pamela James, 57, won a $10,000 Maximum Green prize from being selected as a winner from the Monthly Extra Chance Drawing.
James, who was one of 10 winners selected from the Jan. 2 drawing, won her first prize from the same drawing in 2010 and again in 2012.
“I saved them both, and I’ll save this one,” she shared.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $13.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
