ATLANTA – An Augusta nurse has gotten a big dose of winning. Patricia Holloman, 50, won $2 million playing the Georgia Lottery game Millionaire Jingle Jumbo Bucks.
Holloman scratched the ticket at home Tuesday and claimed her prize later that day.
“I thought I was reading it wrong,” she said. “I kept looking at it. That’s a lot of zeroes.”
Married with two grown children and six grandchildren, Holloman hopes to cut back on her long work weeks.
“I work a lot of hours,” she emphasized. “Or, I should say, I worked a lot of hours.”
Holloman also hopes to get “a reliable car with an air conditioner.”
P J Food Store, located at 3184 Skinner Mill Road in Augusta, sold the lucky ticket.
Millionaire Jingle Jumbo Bucks is an instant game with prizes up to $3 million.
