Adel woman rounds up $150K in winnings

Wednesday, February 13, 2013

ATLANTA – Dina Wooten of Adel is enjoying a tremendous win from the Georgia Lottery. Wooten, 42, won a $150,000 top prize playing the new instant game Fantasy Blackjack.

The lucky winner claimed her prize Wednesday at the Georgia Lottery’s District Office in Tifton.

Wooten said she traveled to the store at her sister’s request where she purchased the ticket. Ram Quick Change, 415 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel, sold it.

“I went home and scratched it,” Wooten said. “I almost went through the roof screaming and hollering.”

Excited over her windfall, Wooten called her sister to share the good news.

“I feel so wonderful,” she exclaimed.

Wooten anticipates purchasing a new car and paying off bills with her prize.
