Retailer sold winning Fantasy 5 ticket from June 6 drawing
ATLANTA – A country store in Evans is celebrating after selling a Georgia Lottery prize. Allen’s Country Store, 4277 Washington Road in Evans, recently sold a $400,000 Fast Play instant ticket.
Store owner Inderpal Dhillon said that selling a winning ticket is a good feeling.
“I was very happy,” he said. “Customers are asking for this ticket and buying it.”
The winner, an Evans resident, claimed the $400,000 prize July 26.
“I was here when the winner scratched the ticket,” Dhillon said. “The winner was thrilled, and I was shocked too.”
To their customers, Allen’s Country Store is considered a lucky shop.
A winning $50,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot ticket from June 6 also was sold from this location.
