Falcons and Georgia Lottery Corp. announce new game

ATLANTA – For the second consecutive year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. and the Atlanta Falcons have teamed to kick off another new and exciting instant game.
Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Score is a $5 game with top prizes of $500,000 and many other great prizes, including 2011 Falcons season ticket packages. Tickets went on sale at Georgia Lottery retailers statewide July 20.
“We’re certainly excited about our continued partnership with the Atlanta Falcons,” said Georgia Lottery President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco. “With every ticket purchased, we’re raising dollars for the lottery-funded Pre-K and HOPE Scholarship programs, benefiting students all over Georgia.”
Atlanta Falcons $500,000 Score also will feature four second-chance drawings. Winners can choose from five incredible Falcons prizes including: a trip for two on the Falcons team plane to an away game; an ultimate year-long tailgate party; a 2011 Ford F-150 SuperCrew truck; a Falcons home theatre worth $20,000; and a $20,000 landscape makeover with the Atlanta Falcons grounds crew.
“We could not be prouder with our relationship and association with the Georgia Lottery, and are extremely excited to launch our second Falcons-themed instant game,” said Atlanta Falcons Chief Marketing Officer Jim Smith. “Our fans are extremely excited about the new game and the best part for us is that every ticket helps fund the Pre-K and HOPE Scholarship programs throughout the state of Georgia.”
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $11.9 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.25 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
