Winning ticket worth $100K sold in Hampton

ATLANTA – A winning ticket from a recent Fantasy 5 drawing was sold in Hampton. Lovejoy Quick Stop, located at 11673 Hastings Bridge Road, sold the winning ticket worth $100,488 from the April 28 drawing.

The winner, Carole Purcell of Hampton, selected her own combination and claimed her prize at the Georgia Lottery’s headquarters in Atlanta.

Winning numbers from the April 28 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 8-11-12-26-28.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
