Winning ticket worth $549K sold in Stone Mountain

ATLANTA – A winning ticket worth $549,822 was sold in Stone Mountain. Dean’s Food Mart, 4687 Rockbridge Road, sold a winning ticket that matched all five numbers from the May 11 Fantasy 5 drawing for the $549,822 jackpot prize.

The winner, James Stevenson of Stone Mountain, claimed his prize Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.

Winning numbers from the May 11 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 03-05-23-30-31.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.4 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
