ATLANTA – A Carrollton mother of three celebrated Mother’s Day with a win from the Georgia Lottery. Melissa Wynn, 53, played the new instant game Silver 7’s and won a $377,777 top prize.
While dining with her three adult children on Mother’s Day, Wynn scratched her lucky ticket.
“I almost did a backflip,” she said. “This is unbelievable!”
Wynn claimed her prize Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
“This is the best Mother’s Day I’ve ever had,” she exclaimed.
The lucky winner intends to purchase a home for her daughter and purchase a Harley-Davidson for herself.
Joe’s Bottle Shop, 3034 Bankhead Highway in Austell, sold the winning ticket.
