ATLANTA – A forklift driver is hoisting a lucky load after winning the top prize on Fantasy 5. Deborah Morrow won $348,088 as one of two players to match all five numbers in the March 23 Fantasy 5 drawing.
Ms. Morrow, a resident of Athens, works at the Johns Manville fiberglass plant in Winder. She was taking a break at work when she called the Georgia Lottery Player Information Hotline to check her Fantasy 5 ticket.
“I just started running in circles,” Ms. Morrow says. “Everybody at work was so excited. The news traveled fast.”
According to Ms. Morrow, she plans to purchase a new home and a sports utility vehicle with her winnings.
“It’s a great feeling!” she exclaims.
The winning numbers for the Fantasy 5 drawing on March 23 were: 5-13-17-20-28.
Ms. Morrow purchased her Quik Pik ticket at Shell Food Mart, located at 53 Monroe Hwy. in Winder. The second top prize ticket for the March 23 Fantasy 5 drawing was sold in Palmetto.
Georgia Lottery retailers selling winning Fantasy 5 tickets receive a retailer incentive bonus of $2,000. The retailer incentive bonus increases by $2,000 each time Fantasy 5 rolls. If more than one winning top prize ticket is sold, the retailers selling the top prize winning tickets will share the bonus. Shell Food Mart will receive a retailer incentive bonus of $7,000.
