ATLANTA – One lucky Georgia Lottery winner has picked up a multi-million dollar prize from an extra chance promotion. Timothy Finch of Decatur was selected as the winner of the $100 Million Lucky Fortunes Extra Chance Drawing, winning a $2.5 million prize.
The 49-year-old detail shop owner saw his name announced during the televised drawing Tuesday.
“I was looking at the television. I saw my name and just went to hollering,” Finch said. “I went through the house yelling, ‘I won!’”
Considering himself lucky, plans for Finch’s windfall include taking care of his family.
