Georgia Lottery launches Georgia FIVE daily game

ATLANTA – The Georgia Lottery has launched its newest daily game. Georgia FIVE is a daily draw game that offers 15 ways to win and cash prizes up to $10,000.

Georgia FIVE tickets went on sale statewide Aug. 1. Each play costs $1.

“We launch many new games and promotions in a continuing effort to keep our games fresh and entertaining for players,” said Georgia Lottery Corp. President and CEO Margaret DeFrancisco. “Adding Georgia FIVE is an exciting opportunity to provide our players with more chances to win and to yield new revenue for lottery-funded HOPE Scholarships and Pre-K.”

Georgia FIVE offers two drawings daily and is easy to play.

Players can select the 12:29 p.m. midday or the 6:59 p.m. evening drawing and pick five numbers from zero to nine. Players win by matching their numbers to the winning numbers drawn in the exact order and position in a single play. There are 15 ways to win cash prizes playing Georgia FIVE. Match all five winning numbers in exact order and win the top prize of $10,000. Overall odds of winning a prize playing Georgia FIVE are 1:5.26.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $11.9 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.25 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
