ATLANTA – A benefits consultant in Jasper is beaming, especially since winning a Fantasy 5 prize worth $198,422. Joseph Kapuscinski, 54, matched all five numbers from the June 1 drawing, winning the jackpot prize.
Tate Market, 20 Canton Road in Tate, sold the winning Quik Pik ticket.
Kapuscinski discovered the results following the drawing on the Georgia Lottery’s website.
“That’s when I went upstairs, and said to my wife, ‘You have to look at this,’” the lucky winner recalled. “She let out a pretty good scream, and I was smiling.”
With two adult daughters with his wife, Mandy, Kapuscinski intends to pay off bills and save for his retirement.
“This will give us a nice nest egg,” he said.
Winning numbers from the June 1 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 17-18-21-26-33.
