Winning ticket worth $100K sold in Chatsworth

ATLANTA – A winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Chatsworth. Mapco Express #3517, 1194 Highway 76 in Chatsworth, sold the winning ticket from the new instant game Georgia Lottery Premium.

The winner, Christian Carroll of Eton, claimed his prize recently at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Dalton.

Georgia Lottery’s new instant game Georgia Lottery Premium is loaded with prizes of up to $1 million.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
