Winning ticket worth $100K sold in West Point

ATLANTA – A winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth $100,000 was sold in West Point. Sunlit, located at 101 W. Eighth St. in West Point, sold a winning ticket matching all five numbers from the June 17 Fantasy 5 drawing.

LaFayette, Ala., resident John Heard is the winner who claimed his prize Tuesday at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Columbus.

Winning numbers from the June 17 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 1-6-11-19-32.

Sunlit sold a winning ticket worth $100,000 last February and a $52,000 a year Win for Life top prize in 2010.

Fantasy 5 will have minimum daily jackpots of $100,000 through June 30.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.3 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
