ATLANTA – A Cobb County man has landed on a hefty prize from a new Georgia Lottery instant game. Garry Fain, 61, of Powder Springs won a $350,000 top prize playing the new instant game Elegant Riches.
Fain, a retired service technician, redeemed a free ticket at Jalaram Food Shop LLC, 4551 Brownsville Road in Powder Springs, for the Elegant Riches instant ticket.
He scratched it in his truck.
“I thought that I was about to pass out,” the lucky winner said.
With one adult child with his wife, Cindy, and two grandchildren, Fain has no plans at the moment for his winnings.
Fain claimed his prize Monday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
