ATLANTA – An insurance claims adjuster has topped a Georgia Lottery win. Erica Ballard, 33, has won a $50,000 top prize playing the popular Georgia Lottery instant game Jumbo Bucks Classic.
Mapco Express #3506, 1750 Lafayette Road in Rossville, sold the winning ticket.
A resident of Ooltewah, Tenn., Ballard said she stopped at the store on her way to work.
“I couldn’t speak. I was speechless,” she said.
Ballard is a claims adjuster for an insurance company in Chattanooga, Tenn. She and her husband, Charles, have one 6 year old.
“I think I’m going to pay off bills and take a trip,” she shared.
