ATLANTA – One Pike County woman is swept up in the excitement of winning a massive prize from the Georgia Lottery. Theresa Anglin of Meansville won a $350,000 top prize playing the instant game Elegant Riches.
Anglin, 54, was redeeming free tickets from other instant games when she selected her lucky find at Upson Superette, 1038 Atwater Road in Thomaston.
“I got home, scratched it and realized I’d won,” she said. “It was hard to believe to begin with.”
With one adult daughter and a granddaughter, Anglin is happy over her windfall.
She intends to purchase property with her winnings.
