ATLANTA – A Lawrenceville food mart has declared a Georgia Lottery instant ticket a big win, and the winners are gushing with excitement. Ruma Food Mart, located at 1184 Lawrenceville Highway, sold a winning ticket with a $350,000 top prize from the new instant game Atlanta Falcons Big Win!
Tampa, Fla., resident Stephanie Robinson and Bartlett, Ill., resident Faruk Yanaray are winners of the prize, who will share the windfall. They claimed the prize Monday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.2 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
